Welcome to Berlin Baseball & Softball

The Berlin Baseball Association is one of 20+ Little Leagues chartered within Massachusetts District 4, which is part of Little League Baseball, Inc.

Baseball Program

Berlin Baseball offers Little League baseball to all boys and girls of ages 5 to 12 living in Berlin. Our program consists of the following levels of play:

Tee-Ball: Ages 5 - 7. Emphasis is on teaching the basic skills while having fun. In town games only.

Coach Pitch: Ages 7 - 9+. Emphasis remains on building fundamental skills. Coaches throw friendly pitches to their players. Games against Bolton as well as in-town.

Minors: Ages 8 - 11+. Players pitch. Games played against Harvard, Lancaster and Bolton in addition to
in-town.

Majors: Ages 9 - 12. Highest level within Little League. Games against Harvard, Lancaster and Bolton. Tournament at end of season.

Note: “Little League age” is based on child’s age as of April 30th of current year.

Games run from late April to mid June.

Softball Program

We’ve registered for membership with the Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA), and will be playing in the Cortland Softball League, consisting of seven towns: Ayer, Berlin, Bolton, Groton, Harvard, Littleton, and Shirley.  This is “fast pitch” softball, and follows ASA rules, amended by the Cortland league.

Games run from late April to mid June.
